In May, 2011, Singing Deer Lodge officially opened its doors. Designed by a renowned American architect, the Lodge took 8 years of intentional planning and building to acquire this unique blend of Western and Chinese, liesure and health, and adapt it all to the existing landscape. There are many different types of rooms to accommodate the various needs of guests. In addition, the Lodge has its own basketball courts, badminton courts, and table tennis, affording guests the opportunity to exercise in the clean, open air. The Lodge owns nearly 5,000 acres of mountainous land, and offers hiking, mountaineering, camping and other outdoor activities.
